Our upgraded outage map

Our crews are always working to get the power back on as quickly as it is safe to, but we heard how important it is for you to know what’s happening, and when your power is expected to return. Our new outage map gives you real-time, street-level information, built on Google Maps for accuracy.

Now you can track power outages and restoration times in real time. Report faults instantly, and find what you need easily.

You’ll see:

  • Major incidents affecting our network – like storms or floods
  • Regular updates on outages in your area: whether they’ve been reported, under investigation, or if repairs are under way

The map is interactive, mobile-friendly and colour-coded so you can check status at a glance. Search your address, report outages, and choose polygon or list view – whichever works best for you.

report-stay-updated

Report a power outage and stay updated

Need to report an outage? It’s easier than ever:

  • Search your address
  • Click your property and start your report

Keep an eye on the map for live updates.

Check the map for live updates. It’s linked to our systems, so you’ll see outage status update as crews work to restore power. You’ll have the same behind-the-scenes information we do – whether the outage is reported, under investigation, scheduled for repair, or already being fixed.

report-streetlight-faults

Report streetlight faults, graffiti or request tree trimming

Through the map you can:

  • Report a streetlight that’s not working, flickering or damaged
  • Check if a fault has already been reported or repaired
  • Report graffiti on an electricity box or pole
  • Tag a power pole or streetlight with posters or signs for removal
  • Request trimming of trees near power lines or blocking streetlights
  • Let us know if one of our properties needs maintenance

You can even upload a photo to give our crews extra details.

Remember, if you see an electrical hazard like fallen powerlines phone us immediately on 131 003. Stay at least 8 meters away and warn others of the danger.
