Moving an asset

The work required to relocate our assets could require significant planning and investment. Including:

  • Trenching and boring
  • Reinstating paths or roads
  • Dismantling and relocating poles and overhead wires
  • Relocating streetlights, or telecommunications equipment mounted on our poles
  • Installing new network infrastructure
  • Adding or changing connections to our network
  • Possibly relocating or connecting substations apart from the ones you want to move

What to do next

Get approval from everyone affected by the relocation including network customers whose connection will be affected and any affected third parties like phone companies
Accurately complete an Asset Relocation Request so we can consider what’s required. We recommend using an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) to help complete your request. Download the Subdivision and Asset Relocation Terms and Conditions
Design your changes so we can decide if the work can be done in full or in part by your ASP or whether you’ll need help from Endeavour Energy too
Check our asset relocation contract suits you then sign and accept within 45 business days
Start work with your ASP and if required, Endeavour Energy

Work with an ASP

Making changes to your existing supply will usually require the assistance of an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) to plan and carry out the work.  All ASPs will need to follow our contestable works framework.
